Elegant morning in Daikanyama. I ate a morning pancake set at the pie and cake shop "Matsunosuke NY Daikanyama" produced by confectionery researcher Akiko Hirano.
The shop is less than 5 minutes walk from Daikanyama station. It is in the Daikanyama Hillside Terrace. A soft atmosphere where sunlight shines through the large glass windows.
The morning served from 9am to 11am is a set of pancakes and coffee or tea. Choose "sour cream & blackcurrant pancakes" from 3 types of pancakes. The price is 1,100 yen (tax included).
It takes about 15 minutes to bake. Tea was brought in first. It's fashionable because the sugar is in the Perrier jar.
The pancakes that arrived elsewhere are about 1.5 cm thick. It has a fluffy and moist mouthfeel. The dough itself has a slight sweetness and saltiness, and it is delicious enough as it is.
The chubby sour cream adds a deep flavor, and the blackcurrant (cassis) adds a wild acidity. The mellowness and freshness alternate to entertain the tongue. The sourness remains strong, so the aftertaste is refreshing.
Don't forget the special maple sauce that comes with it. Matsunosuke-ryu is to soak and eat pancakes instead of sprinkling them. The rich sweetness overflows from the syrup-soaked dough. It changes to a rich taste at once and a feeling of luxury MAX!
Pancakes with a variety of flavors that vary with cream, jam, and sauce. You can order pancakes until 17:00, even if you don't have a breakfast set, so if you're busy in the morning, you can enjoy lunch or snacks.
