Previously, I actually ate the "hard pudding" and "handmade pudding set" offered at Ikebukuro "High Mart", but I introduced it because I found a solid pudding in Shimbashi.
"Parlor Kimuraya" is located in Shinbashi, Tokyo. If you use the Shiodome exit of JR Shimbashi station, you can reach it in a minute or two on foot.
I visited around 12:00 on weekdays. Most of the customers are office workers who came to have lunch. The inside of the store is a little small, but it has a retro atmosphere, and the chairs are comfortable to sit in.
I ordered "Purin (480 yen including tax)". Canned yellow peach and cream are included as toppings.
You can see it the moment you insert the spoon. This is ... a solid system! It is considerably harder than ordinary pudding and has a smoother texture than "Puru". Even after scooping, it does not collapse and keeps its shape firmly.
A simple taste that allows you to enjoy the flavor of eggs properly. If you eat a strong sweet cream (the taste of common commercial whipped cream) together, you will feel a little nostalgic.
"Parlor Kimuraya" pudding that makes you feel retro. "Pudding a la mode (700 yen including tax)" with added toppings is also a popular menu. Check it out if you like hard pudding!
