The official restaurant of popular craft beer maker Yo-Ho Brewing opened in Aoyama in October , following Akasaka and Kanda. The name has been changed from the conventional "Yona Yona BEER KITCHEN", and it is now operating as "YONA YONA BEER WORKS". At this restaurant, there are always more than 10 types of craft beer made by the company, including "Yona Yona Ale". In addition, the Aoyama store (Omotesando, Tokyo) has 11 types of "original sausages", and it seems that you can propose beer that suits each.

The number of restaurants that sell craft beer has increased, but I don't think there are many restaurants that have more than 10 types of sausages (and are original). In fact, how does the taste of both sides change by changing the combination? The author who visited the Aoyama store tried the three combinations taught by the staff, so I will introduce them in a ranking format. A terrifying pleasure awaited there.

[3rd place] Yuzukosho x Karuizawa Kogen Beer Wild Forest

First of all, a combination of sausage "Yuzukosho" and "Karuizawa Kogen Beer Wild Forest". It was orthodox, but it was a taste that made me want to refill it again and again.

Wild Forest has less bitterness and you can enjoy a slightly fruity scent. It is said that it is very easy to drink among the company's beers and it is easy to match with any dish. It seems that the sausage recommended for such a "universal player" is Yuzukosho.

Beer gently wraps the tingling stimulus of Yuzukosho. In addition, the beer did not interfere with the unexpectedly delicate aroma of yuzu pepper, so it was a combination that complemented the sausage. Personally, I think this sausage goes well with the bittersweet IPA "Indian Blue Demon".

[2nd place] Coriander and lemon x Wednesday cat

Second place is sausage "Pakuchi and Lemon" and white ale "Wednesday cat". The resonance of the material creates an exquisite depth.

Wednesday cats feature a fruity scent and a refreshing mouth. Contains coriander (pakuchi) seeds and orange peel as auxiliary ingredients. On the other hand, sausage also contains coriander and lemon as the menu name suggests. "Pakuchi and citrus", a pair of very similar materials.

The refreshing beer sheds the fat of the sausage and refreshes it, and the refreshing feeling of the herbs that remain behind is indescribable. It was a mariage with a perfect match of various materials.

[1st place] Smoked beef x Halle's Japanese hermit

The sausages "Smoked Beef" and "Hare no Nissenjin" are undisputed first place. I can't forget the intense pleasure that pierced my body in the first bite.

Halle's Nissenjin is a long-term aged beer that has been aged in a tank for half a year to a year. By letting it lie down, the mouthfeel becomes mellow, and the richness, bitterness, and sweetness all become thicker. It's a beer that is in a completely different dimension from enjoying the throat and squishy foam.

Smoked beef does not have the juiciness of sausage, but the hardness of smoked beef. Kaoru is not so strong, and as you chew, the umami and fragrance slowly spread in your mouth. While there is this residual scent, it gently includes the Japanese hermit of Halle. Running around the whole body is an unmistakable pleasure. It brings a feeling of accomplishment, as if what should be there should be exactly where it should be.

The gentle scent of sausage enhances the mellow scent of Hare's Nissenjin. The richness of Hare's day hermit brings out the deliciousness of the meat. Is there such a good combination! Even though it was beer and sausage, it was a time when I could feel the feeling of whiskey and nuts at the bar.

When I tried different combinations of each, it wasn't that they didn't fit, but there were many that didn't fit. I wonder if I couldn't forget the pleasure I once remembered ... it's scary! From the next time, you may only be able to eat this combination.

However, it is a waste not to challenge because there are so many. Why don't you try various combinations and find your favorite one? There seems to be more room to develop a lineup that makes you think it's a sausage specialty store.
