"Sanriku Ofunato Tokyo Tower pacific saury Festival", where charcoal grilled saury is distributed free of charge, will be held at Tokyo Tower Parking Lot (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on September 23.


This is the 7th Sanriku / Ofunato Tokyo Tower pacific saury Festival. Fresh saury sent directly from Ofunato Port in Iwate Prefecture is charcoal-grilled on the spot and provided free of charge to 3,333 people. The charcoal-grilled saury is served with "soy sauce that goes well with saury," "salt that goes well with saury," grated radish, and "Hetsuka Daidai."


In addition, Ofunato's traditional dish "Sanmasuri Meat Soup" (200 yen) will be sold for a limited number of 2,000 meals, and Ofunato's local burger "Ofunato pacific saury Burger" (500 yen) will be sold for 1,000 meals.


A voucher is required for charcoal grilling of saury. The voucher will be distributed at the venue from 7:30 in the morning of the day, and will end as soon as it runs out.

Entrance is free of charge. The holding time is from 9:30 to 16:30.
