Madeleine specialty store "MADELEINE LAPIN" opened in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo on July 29th. Madeleines that are particular about "safety, security, and handmade" are on sale.

Madeleines sold at the store are made from "selected" ingredients such as Hokkaido flour, flat-reared, non-medicated chicken eggs, and Madagascar vanilla beans. No preservatives, colorings or artificial fragrances are used.

For flavors, 38 recipes have been developed, from basic "vanilla" to savory (salty) such as "Italian cheese". Among them, madeleines handmade by pastry chefs at stores are always on sale for about 7-9 items.

There is a counter inside the store with the scent of freshly baked madeleine butter, and you can eat the purchased madeleine on the spot. There is also an eat-in space, and a lunch plate with madeleine is served at noon. In addition, at tea time, you can enjoy wine and herbal tea along with original sweet plates and parfaits arranged with madeleine.

On weekends, freshly baked mini-madeleines are also sold through the To go window at the entrance of the store. Due to limited quantity, it will end as soon as it is sold out.

The store is located on the 1st floor of Miyazaki No. 2 Building, 2-9-15 Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo. Business hours are from 11:00 to 19:30. Closed on Tuesdays.
