An event to enjoy nuts and dried fruits, "American Nuts Cafe," will be held at cafe STUDIO in Harajuku, Tokyo, on July 22nd, "Nuts Day."


The event has been held since 2012 by the US Embassy's Agricultural Trade Office (ATO). Pastry chefs and sweets specialty stores produce sweets using American nuts and dried fruits. Visitors can enjoy one sweet for free and also purchase it. Participating stores include Toshi Yoroizuka, Patisserie & Cafe Delimo, Patisserie Les Aneforts, and Masmo. At the same time, nuts, dried fruits, and almond milk that can be freely sampled and tasted will be prepared.

The holding time is scheduled from 11:30 to 19:00. Admission is free.
