The "Uji Matcha Sweets Buffet" will be held from May 15th to July 17th at the Italian Dining Bel Lago at the Lake Biwa Hotel (Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture).
The menu includes more than 35 types of sweets, including "authentic" Uji matcha sweets and seasonal Japanese sweets that Japanese people have been accustomed to for a long time. All Uji matcha sweets are made from hand-picked tea leaves "Samidori" grown in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, which is said to be the "hometown of Japanese tea." You can enjoy the deep taste unique to "Samidori" while making the best use of the original aroma of tea leaves.
In addition to sweets, Gyokuro's welcome drink and light meals using the same tea leaves will be prepared.
The holding time is from 15:30 to 17:00 (90 minutes system). The price is 3,800 yen per person (tax and service charge included).
