M-1 Grand Prix Winner "Ginshari" "Rights to Decorate the Package of 'Nissin's Donbei'"

Nissin Foods presented the winning duo "Ginshari" with the right to decorate the package of "Nissin Donbei" as a complimentary prize for winning the "M-1 Grand Prix 2016," a competition to determine the best Japanese comic duo, which was broadcast on December 4, 2016 on TV.


The previously announced image of the package was a large photo of the winning duo's faces with the "Don" of "Donbei" crossed with the word "Don," and the words "2016 M-1 Don: Celebration of the Winner" underneath. However, the package that was actually completed showed the two of them as the characters for "Don. It seems that a "surprise" was suddenly thrown in their faces.



The filming took place late at night on December 4, immediately after the decision of the winner. It was funny and endearing to see the two Ginshari members dressed in green full-body tights receiving explanations with serious expressions on their faces.

I was surprised, but I'm so "happy" to be able to be a part of the traditional "DON" character! Please pick up a copy before all of our relatives buy it up.
One thing, since our name is "Ginshari", we are not sure if you are interested in the "Udon? Rice? Which one? I just hope that everyone will not be confused.

Pre-orders for the silver-shari-packaged Donbei "M-1 no Don" will begin at 10:00 a.m. on December 8 at Nissin Foods' official online store. The product is scheduled to be shipped by the end of January 2017, priced at 2,160 yen (excluding tax) for a set of 12 servings.

The contents are the same as those of Nissin Donbei Kitsune Udon (East).
