At each Krispy Kreme Donuts (KKD) store (excluding some stores), a new flavor of Cool Crispy Sand "Cool Crispy Sand Murasakiimo & Vanilla with Black Beans" will be released on September 21st. Limited time until November 23rd. The price is 420 yen (tax included, same below).

This is a dessert donut made by sandwiching gelato using domestic purple potatoes and rich vanilla ice cream on KKD's standard product "Original Glazed". It is topped with black beans from Hokkaido that have been steamed for a chewy texture. By warming it lightly, the donut dough will blend well with ice cream and gelato, making it even more delicious.

Prior to this, "Murasaki Imo Latte (Hot)" (S size 350 yen and up) and "Murasaki Imo Chillers" (440 yen) will be on sale from September 14th. Both are said to be able to enjoy the mellow flavor of red potatoes.
