The other day, at 7-ELEVEN, I discovered a new taste of "Shiitake snack" and "Mushroom manma" sold by UHA Mikakuto. "Wasabi taste" and "Taste ponzu taste".

Mushroom manma has been a hot topic on the internet for a while. I also like shiitake mushrooms, but I hadn't experienced shiitake snacks before, so I took this opportunity to buy and eat them!

◆ Wasabi taste that is more spicy than you can imagine

When I took it out of the package, there was a serious shiitake mushroom that I could make soup if I put it back in hot water.



The wasabi taste is insanely spicy from the moment you put it in your mouth! There is plenty of wasabi powder on the surface, and at the same time you poke your nose, a tingling stimulus hits your tongue! But this ... it's really delicious!

The texture is crunchy and fragrant enough to chew. It is said that it has a fluffy scented shiitake flavor, but it is not comparable to the impact of wasabi powder. However, this wasabi does not stop after pulling back!

◆ Crispy and sour taste Ponzu flavor

On the other hand, the ponzu flavor did not have as strong an impact of the seasoning powder as the wasabi flavor, and I felt the taste of shiitake mushroom itself.


The juicy lemon sour ponzu powder is crispy and sour, and when chewed, the mellow scent of shiitake mushrooms spreads in your mouth. It tastes like thick shiitake mushrooms that have been grilled to brown and sprinkled with ponzu sauce.


I'm glad that the mushrooms contain dietary fiber and that they are snacks but have low calories (59 kcal per bag).

Wasabi flavor has been on sale from June 6th at 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, Ministop, Circle K, Aeon, station shops, etc. Taste Ponzu flavor is currently on sale exclusively at 7-ELEVEN. The general release date is undecided.
