Now, here's a tidbit of trivia. The beverage recommended for Mentos Geyser is Diet Coke. Diet Coke is said to be sugar-free, light, smooth (?) to spurt, and high performance. The company says that Diet Coke is smooth and has a high performance potential. Also, if you drink the carbonated beverage left in the PET bottle after the spouting, it is said to be completely drained. The gushing is only for a moment, but during that time, the gas is completely drained out.
