Suncoh has released the "USB Uzumaki Coffee Tumbler," a tumbler that can be charged to keep drinks warm in places without a power source and can also be used to stir drinks without using a spoon. It is now available in limited quantities only at the company's mail-order site, Suncorreamono Shop. The direct sales price is 2,480 yen (tax included).


The USB Uzumaki Coffee Tumbler can keep drinks such as coffee and tea warm when the built-in battery is charged in advance, even when you are out of the office without a power source. It is perfect for when you get out of the office on a weekday lunch break to go for a walk and watch the cherry blossoms. The battery has a capacity of 1,000 mAh, and when charged for two to three hours, it can keep drinks at a temperature of about 40°C for about two hours. It can be used in an office or home with a USB power supply, such as a PC, while being powered by USB.


The "Uzumaki" in the product name seems to indicate the electric stirring function. When the button on the side of the tumbler is pressed, a screw on the inside bottom rotates, stirring the drink in a circular motion. There is no need to bother with a spoon or muddler, making this function perfect for rechargeable warming tumblers that can be carried around.
