With bread and espresso. With you and with me.

Tokyo is a cafe & bakery " Bread and Espresso " in Omotesando. The shop's bread, which is baked with particular attention to ingredients and quality, has many fans, and it seems to be a popular shop where customers line up from the morning even on weekdays.

A long time ago, the author, who loved bread and went to the bread class (but did not improve her female power at all), went to the store with great expectations.

■ From the signboard to the exterior and interior, everything is fashionable

"Pan and Espresso" is a 6- to 7-minute walk from Omotesando Subway Station. As I walked down a quiet street, I found a shop sign.

I arrived at the shop around 10 am on weekdays, but the inside of the shop and the terrace seats were fully booked! Outside the entrance, customers who came for breakfast are lined up in a row. The author was also at the end and was guided to his seat after waiting for about 20 minutes.

Inside the store, one corner of the space is a bakery, and various types of freshly baked bread are displayed. While I was waiting for my seat, delicious bread was baked one after another with a fragrant smell.

■ Breakfast menu is 3 types

There are three types of breakfast menu: A toast set (500 yen), B panini set (600 yen), and C French toast set (650 yen). All drinks are included in the set.

From the prior information and the order status of the customers around, it seems that the popular menu seems to be French toast. So I decided to take advantage of it and order a set of C. Of course, espresso is the choice for drinks.

■ Crispy French toast, inside is torotoro!

Soon after, my breakfast set was brought in.

French toast, which is about 3-4 cm thick, is freshly baked and fluffy! The ears are crispy and fragrant, and the bread is chewy enough to chew, making it look like a Danish pastry.

The inside is like bread pudding, and the sweetness is low. You can feel the taste of wheat, butter, eggs, and the ingredients themselves. delicious. I can't find any words other than delicious.

French toast can be topped with acacia honey if you like. The refreshing sweetness gives French toast a rich aftertaste.

■ Espresso with an easy-to-drink taste

When you bring the espresso to your mouth, the mellow aroma of coffee beans tickles your nose. It has little bitterness and is easy to drink with a fruity and refreshing acidity. I don't need sugar. It's a good idea to roll it over your tongue little by little while biting a slightly sweet French toast.

After tasting a delicious breakfast, today is the beginning of the day. I'm getting excited. Well, what should we do now? shopping? Or should I go see it at sea?

...... Ah, Ikkene, it was a job ☆ \ (^ o ^) /

"Bread and Espresso" is a shop that is both fashionable and simple. I like the casualness that makes it easy to stop by and the reasonable menu price despite being in a high-class place called Omotesando. Suddenly, it's a cafe that makes you want to bring someone. Bread and espresso, you and me.
