In October 2013, the huge duck object "Rubber Duck" exhibited in Nakanoshima, Osaka became a hot topic. Rihga Royal Hotel (Kita-ku, Osaka) offers a menu "Rubber Duck Plate" named after this "giant duck".

The rubber duck exhibition was held in conjunction with the "Water Capital Osaka Festival 2013", and the first "Send-off Cruise" was held on October 19th. However, there was a tragedy during this memorable cruise. First of all, my head got caught on the iron bridge because of my big body, which is about 9.5m long, and I became sick "drinking water" probably because of the strong wind. In an unexpected accident, people who couldn't see their energetic appearance raised a voice of sadness.

but it's okay. If you go to the RIHGA Royal Hotel, you can enjoy the appearance of "non-deflated" ducks until the end of the year.

At the hotel's "All Day Dining Remone," the one-plate menu "Rubber Duck Plate" with duck-shaped omelet rice is available until December 30th.

This omelet rice is finished in a "duck shape" after the rubber duck. The body is omelet rice with chicken rice, the head is potato and pumpkin salad, the eyes are olives, and the beak is made of carrots.

The plate also includes seasonal quiche, soup, dessert, etc., so it is recommended for those who want to eat little by little. The price is 2,000 yen (including service fee) and is limited to 20 meals a day.

By the way, Rubber Duck has finished his terrible "business trip to Osaka", but he has regained his original appearance after "emergency surgery" and now seems to be heading to the next city. I would like you to do your best with a “big body” based on the lessons learned from the incident in Osaka.
