An event "Uma! Iwate" where you can experience the charm of Iwate was held from October 14th to October 20th at the outdoor event space "Sony Square" in the Ginza Sony Building, and the balloon of Iwate's PR character "Sobacchi" In addition to the setting up, there are plans for a "Wanko soba tournament" where parents and children can challenge themselves, and a time to interact with Sobacchi.
At the "Wanko Soba Tournament" to be held on October 14, elementary school students and parents will form a pair, and children will serve adults and compete for the number of bowls that can be eaten within the time limit. Participants will be presented with an apron that can be worn at the time of participation as a participation prize, and the champion will be presented with a bowl and chopsticks set from Iwate's traditional craft "Joboji Nuri". It is scheduled twice from 10:30 and 13:30, and participants will be recruited at the venue on the day.


In addition to the appearance of Sobacchi at the tournament, on the 19th and 20th, Sobacchi's siblings "Wanko Brothers" will be lined up and a photo session will be held.
