The world's smallest chicken egg was found in China. It is 2 centimeters long and weighs 2.6 grams. It is 0.1 cm smaller in length and 0.86 grams lighter in weight than the egg found in the United States, which has been considered the smallest in the world. The egg was discovered in Chongqing, southwestern China, the media reported. It is said that it was born by a chicken owned by 55-year-old hairdresser He Daiyou, who lives in the city. Daiyou said he plans to apply for Guinness World Records for certification as the smallest egg in the world.
