Three types of matcha sweets are now available

Ishiya Co., Ltd., which sells Hokkaido's famous confectionery "Shiroi Koibito," will sell three types of matcha-themed products from May 9th for the summer only.

"Matcha Baum TSUMUGI" is a milky matcha milk flavored Baumkuchen. "Shiroi Koibito" white chocolate and Uji matcha from Kyoto are kneaded into the dough. The price is 1,296 yen (tax included, same below).

"Matcha roll cake" is a roll cake that uses Uji matcha for the dough and cream. Ogura bean paste is kneaded into Uji matcha cream, and it is finished with a slightly sweet white kneaded bean paste. The price is 972 yen.


"Matcha i Gateau" is made by kneading Uji matcha, butter, and white chocolate into the dough. It has a gentle taste with aroma of matcha and milk. The price is 1,080 yen for 5 pieces.


Available stores are department stores in Sapporo, souvenir shops in Hokkaido, major airports in Hokkaido, and major airports outside Hokkaido (international duty-free shop area). In addition, it will be sold at Ishiya Online Shop.
