The "Sweets Marathon" is a marathon event where you can enjoy sweets at a "sweets station" that is not a water supply station. Entry has started for the Osaka tournament "National Sweets Marathon in Osaka" to be held on December 14th.

The Sweets Marathon is an event where you can eat as many sweets as you like, as there is a sweets shop in the middle of the course, which is about 2 kilometers per lap. It seems that about 250 kinds of sweets are prepared. In addition, as a participation prize, you will receive sweets in collaboration with the sweets shop, towels with the original logo, and a sweets product exhibition will be held at the venue.
The Osaka tournament held at Osaka Castle Park (Osaka City) is very popular, and 6,744 people entered last year. This year, a contest for costume runners will also be held.

Apply for participation from the official website. There are three competitions: 10km marathon, relay marathon, and shuffle marathon. Participation fee is 5,500 yen for general (high school students and above) and 4,000 yen for junior high school students and below. The entry deadline is November 15th, but it will be closed as soon as the capacity is reached.
