Summer sweets "Dracon Dumpling" like "Gyoza" in Chinese Starbucks again this year

It is said that Starbucks in China will release "Gyoza-style" sweets "Dragon Dumplings" as a summer menu. The US media Brand Eating reports .

Dragon ... dumplings?

A dragon dumpling is a translucent "skin" that wraps a shaved ice-like "red bean paste" that combines coffee, tea, and fruit flavors. Basically, you can think that it contains the contents of "Frappuccino". It is a sweet with the motif of "chimaki" that can be eaten after the traditional event "Dragon Boat Festival" held every year in China.

Traditional Chinese food "Chimaki". Certainly similar! (Source: Wikipedia / Miuki)

The Dragon Dumpling will go on sale every summer in Starbucks, China, since 2009. This year's flavors are "Strawberry & Cream," "Earl Gray Jerry," "Mango," "Green Tea & Red Bean (Azuki)," and "Coffee Almond."

A cool dragon dumpling that looks cute. It's a pity that you can't eat it in Japan, but why not give it a try when you visit China?
