's Okinawa-Kyushu Festival "Kappa's Okinawa-Kyushu Festival" will be held at Kappa Sushi restaurants from June 21 to July 11. The festival will feature nigiri (rice balls) developed in the image of "island sushi," which has its roots in Hachijojima Island and is said to have spread across the sea to other parts of Japan, Okinawa's local dish "rafte," cod roe from "Hakata Kanafuku," a long-standing restaurant in Fukuoka, Kyushu, "bonito" from Kagoshima Prefecture, and "Kanpachi Sushi using specialties from Okinawa and Kyushu, such as "bonito" and "kanpachi" from Kagoshima, will be available from 110 yen per plate (tax included, same as below).

In addition, a total of 20 items will be available at Kappa Sushi, including "Okinawa Soba Ramen", "Fried horse mackerel from Nagasaki Prefecture", and "Sarter andagi", a good-luck confectionery from Okinawa.

Island Sushi-style Squid


Nigiri squid, arranged in island-zushi style with a special sweet sauce and spicy sauce. The price is 110 yen for two pieces.

Kanefuku Hakata Mentai Nama Kobashira Wrapped with Hakata Kanefuku Mentaiko


This wrapped sushi features spicy mentaiko and raw kobashira for a great texture and flavor. The price is 110 yen per piece.

Charcoal-grilled Bonito Tataki (cut in the restaurant) from Kagoshima Prefecture


Charcoal-grilled bonito landed at the Port of Yamakawa in Kagoshima Prefecture is grilled to a delicious aroma. The price is 110 yen for two pieces.

In-store preparation of kanpachi wrapped in fisherman's style


Finely chopped crispy kanpachi with original sauce and ririgomago (parched sesame seeds). Available only at the restaurant. The price is 110 yen per piece.

Okinawa's Specialty: Rafte Nigiri


Okinawa's local delicacy, "rafte" is pork belly with skin seasoned with sweet and spicy sauce, and is served in nigiri form. The price is 363 yen for two pieces.

In-house cut Kagoshima island sushi style kanpachi


Kanpachi marinated in a special sweet sauce and topped with neri spicy sauce. The price is 363 yen for two pieces.

Kanefuku Kyushu Ajiwai Ippin Dish


A limited menu of food and beverages available only at the restaurant. The price is 726 yen for five pieces.

Okinawa Soba-Style Ramen


A Kappa Sushi style version of Okinawa's local dish, Okinawa Soba. The price is 429 yen.

Deep-fried Nagasaki horse mackerel


Large size horse mackerels with soft and fatty meat are served crispy and hot. Price: 429 yen.

Okinawa brown sugar sata andagi & vanilla


A doughnut made with Okinawan brown sugar, served with vanilla ice cream and topped with flavorful brown sugar syrup. The price is 297 yen.

Some items are priced differently at the Yokohama Nishiguchi Ekineer store and the Dotonbori Ebisubashi store.
