Hotel Okura Pistachio Spread is a smooth whipped cream made with pistachio paste. The bright light green outer box is reminiscent of pistachios.


Purchased at Maruetsu supermarket in Tokyo, the 140g (4.94oz) packet was priced at 398 yen (excluding tax).

The inner box is a plastic case with a lid, the same as margarine. The spread itself is almost beige in color with a slight greenish tinge.

How does Hotel Okura Pistachio Spread taste?

The spread spreads on toast with the aromatic aroma of pistachios. It melts smoothly in the mouth, spreading the richness of pistachios and further enhancing the aroma.


It has just the right amount of sweetness, so it is not too heavy even when spread generously! It looks good not only on bread, but also as a topping for pancakes and baked goods. If you like pistachios, pick some up when you see them.
