Do you know Lloyds' sister brand "Lloyds Ishigakijima"? Review tropical raw chocolate such as mango and awamori

"Lloyd's Ishigakijima", a sister brand of Hokkaido chocolate maker Lloyd's. Sweets with the image of a tropical country are being developed. It can also be purchased at Lloyds' online shop.

Royce's popular raw chocolate also has a lineup of tropical flavors. I tried 3 kinds of "Mango", "Passion fruit & Shikuwasa" and "Awamori". Each box contains 9 tablets and the price is 486 yen (tax included).

◆ Mango
Raw chocolate made by blending mango with white chocolate. The mellow sweetness of white chocolate and the tropical scent of mango blend together. The rich mouthfeel of raw chocolate and the melting sweetness are a perfect match.

◆ Awamori
Raw chocolate made by blending Okinawa's local sake, Awamori, with milk chocolate. The clear taste of awamori that spreads with a milky sweetness. With about 1.0% alcohol, a faint heat and fragrance remain. But I don't have a strong habit, so I wonder if even people who are not familiar with Awamori can enjoy it.

◆ Passion fruit & shikuwasa
Raw chocolate made by blending passion fruit and shikuwasa juice with white chocolate. It melts smoothly on the tongue and first spreads a deep richness. Then the sweetness of passion fruit bursts, and finally the acidity of Shikuwasa. Thanks to the fruity juice, the aftertaste is refreshing while being rich.

In addition to the three flavors introduced for raw chocolate, we also have a lineup of "brown sugar" and "pineapple." Chocolate using salt from Ishigaki is also available. If you miss the tropical taste, check it out!
