It's not fried chicken! "Toriten set meal" in Yayoiken-Reproduces Oita's local cuisine

Toriten!

At the set meal restaurant "Yayoiken", Oita's specialty dish "Toriten set meal", which is fried chicken thighs, will be sold as one of the series of set meals of local dishes from all over Japan. It will be available from February 13th.

Plenty of 5 pieces

The selling price is 790 yen (tax included). Toriten is a local dish that is said to have spread in the 20th century in Oita City and Beppu City in central Oita Prefecture. At Yayoiken, chicken thighs, which are brewed with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, are battered and fried after receiving an order.

It is said that it is a hearty set meal with 5 pieces of "Toriten", which is covered with crispy batter and filled with juicy umami gravy. Comes with rice and miso soup.

Freely change the taste with ponzu or grated radish

Toriten, which has a strong undertone, is said to have a taste that makes the rice go on as it is, but it is said that "Oita-ryu" is also served with ponzu and mustard. In addition, you can squeeze grated radish and lemon to change the taste, and you can enjoy various flavors until the end without getting tired.
