At the "Yokohama Bay Quarter Store" that I visited this time, there are 6 types of matcha oyaki in the lineup.

Is "large-format ware" more familiar than oyaki in the Kanto region?

Among them, "Matcha Azuki" (140 yen, tax included, same below), which is made by wrapping Ogura bean paste in a dough kneaded with matcha, "Matcha custard" (140 yen), which is a plain dough filled with matcha custard, and "Matcha custard" for a limited time. Review "Azuki & Maron Cream" (200 yen).

・ Matcha Azuki



The generously packed grained horse is exquisitely delicious! It is a deep handmade taste that is carefully simmered by adding a little salt to enhance the sweetness. This matches the slightly bitter, chewy matcha dough!


The bean paste is not too sweet, and the bitterness of matcha is crisp and the taste is sharp.

・ Matcha custard


The richest and most satisfying. Personally, this is my favorite.

The plain dough has a moist and sticky texture. Although it is thin, it has a strong presence. I felt it was firmer than the matcha dough (maybe there are individual differences).


And even this is a lot of Trottro matcha custard cream! The moment I ate this, it was so bitter and rich that I felt "nigga!", And the flavor of matcha was also rich. A refreshing scent will come out of your throat and nose. Maybe I've eaten sweets that feel matcha so far after a long time.


・ Azuki & Maron cream


Limited number of flavors. The bittersweet matcha dough is packed with sweet bean paste and smooth, smooth malon cream. The soft sweetness of chestnut spreads gently in your mouth along with the sweetness of azuki beans.
