Bakake" is a rice cracker with an addictive taste. Aonori soy sauce flavor is the standard, but there are also local "bakauke" rice crackers.
This time I purchased "Niigata Limited Bakake (chili pepper flavor)" and "Bakake Niigata no Doroguro-don flavor". The chili pepper flavor is a bakage made with "Cho Oni-Killer," a fine powder of chili pepper that has less of an offensive taste and smell. The chili pepper design on the package reads, "Be careful, it's very hot! " is written on the package.

How spicy is it? I was so excited when I tried it... It was
spicy, but not unbearable. The crunchy rice cracker's aroma and exquisite saltiness spreads out. It is tangy and spicy because garlic powder and black pepper are also used.
If you are relaxed, the
chili pepper slowly begins to assert itself later on. Even after swallowing, you will feel a lingering sensation on your tongue and throat. It's spicy, but you can't stop eating it!
Maybe too spicy for the kids.

Bakauke Niigata Noodoguro Donburi Flavor" is a bowl of rice topped with a bowl of seared "toro" (white tuna). The package is decorated with a large image of a bowl of rice to whet the appetite.
