Onsen Chokoreto
Gunma Prefecture is home to many hot springs such as Kusatsu Onsen, Shima Onsen, and Ikaho Onsen. We found "Onsen Chokore toto," a symbol of Gunma's "hot spring power," at Gunma-chan-ke, an antenna store in Gunma Prefecture. The price is 1,080 yen (tax included).
The chic package depicts a hot spring. Open the box and... an open-air bath appears! Instead of the unique smell of sulfur, a sweet aroma wafts through the air. The bamboo fence, the stone pavement, and the rock bath are all chocolate. I have never seen such a delicious looking bath.
The design inside is elaborate.
The baths are not mixed, but are divided into men's and women's baths. It is nice that each has a different flavor.
We will take it as if we were in a hot spring.
Men's bath
The bamboo fence is matcha chocolate with only the first tea used, the rock bath is milk chocolate, and the stone pavement is white chocolate combined with almond paste. The green of the bamboo fence is very realistic.

The bamboo fence is a match of matcha and the bitterness of cacao nibs. It gives the impression of being more flavorful than sweet. The milk chocolate adds a mild sweetness to it. Almonds and puffs are also included to accentuate the crunchy texture.
Multi-layered in taste and texture
The largest area is cobblestone white chocolate. The deep richness and the savory taste of almonds fill your mouth. Even though it is chocolate, you feel like a monster when you cover yourself in the hot spring.

Women's bath
The bamboo fence is tangerine chocolate, the rock bath is white chocolate with coffee beans, and the stone pavement is milk chocolate with almonds and puffs. The rock bath looks a little like marble.
The tangerine chocolate is very refreshing. The sweetness of the chocolate is mixed with fruity sourness and a hint of bitterness. The coffee beans in the white chocolate also boost the bitterness. The combination of all the chocolates gives a strange but addictive taste.
An "edible hot spring" that can be enjoyed with both the eyes and the tongue. Chocolate lovers and spa lovers alike should check it out.
