Hiroshima

nazuke (Hiroshima mustard pickles) Green pickles

Hiroshima

nazuke

is one of the three major pickles, along with takana from Kyushu and nozawana from Shinshu, and is a traditional pickle specialty of Hiroshima Prefecture. It is characterized by its moderately crisp texture and rich flavor. We use pickles from "Hiroshima Sakigake Yamatoyo," a famous Hiroshima pickle store in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Hinatazuke Yellow Pickles

These takuan (pickled daikon radish) are made using traditional methods by pickling sun-dried daikon radish. It is made by Michimoto Foods in Miyazaki Prefecture. These slightly sweet pickles are made from daikon radishes that have been sun-dried in the sun under the blue winter sky of Miyazaki and exposed to plenty of sun. *"Hyuga pickles" is a registered trademark of Michimoto Shokuhin Co.

AKIMURASAKI Purple Pickles

Aged Hiroshima mustard and red shiso are combined to create this elegant tasting pickle. It is mildly flavored with soy sauce and sesame seeds. Like Hiroshima mustard pickles, it is made by "Hiroshima Kai Yamayo".
