From the Calbee "Jagarico" brand, "Jagarico Spicy Rayu Chicken Flavor" will go on sale at convenience stores on February 13 (Mon.) to enjoy Chinese flavor easily. The rest of the Jagarico brand will go on sale at convenience stores on Monday, February 27.

In recent years, Chinese food has been attracting renewed attention with words such as "Gachi-Chinese," and Jagarico Spicy Rayu Chicken Flavor is now available for those who love Chinese food. This product was released on a trial basis in 2021 as "Yodare Chicken Flavor" and was very popular, with customers saying "the spicy flavor is strong and delicious" and "it goes well with alcohol. This time, the product name was changed to "spicy raayu chicken flavor" to better convey the flavor, while keeping the same popular content.

The rich flavor of the spicy raayu-based sauce with hwasho and spices is poured over the umami-rich chicken. Two types of flakes of chicken minced chicken and chili pepper, as well as sesame and green onion grains, are kneaded into the stick to give it a Chinese flavor and appearance.


The package is a pop-up reproduction of the atmosphere of a neon signboard in Chinatown. A picture of juicy chicken is placed in the center of the package, and a picture of chicken is added to the lid to make the flavor instantly recognizable.

The package contains 52g (1.83oz) and is priced at around 165 yen (tax included). The product will be sold throughout Japan.
