Krispy Kreme Premium Hokkaido Shimaenaga Matcha & Azuki" will be available at the Sapporo Pole Town Store, Sapporo Le Trois Store, Chitose Outlet Mall Rera Store and Sapporo Factory Store from January 11, 2023 (Wednesday). Krispy Kreme Premium Hokkaido White Cheesecake will also go on sale at the same time.

The Krispy Kreme Premium Hokkaido series are limited edition doughnuts developed by Hokkaido store staff with a focus on the local specialties and culture of Hokkaido.

"Krispy Kreme Premium Hokkaido Shimaenaga Matcha & Azuki" is a limited time only doughnut featuring a "Shimaenaga" wild bird native to Hokkaido popping out from the cake batter kneaded with stone ground Uji matcha green tea. The face is made of Hokkaido milk cream and painted with chocolate to express the white, rounded cuteness of the "snow fairy," as it is also called.


The donut is then topped with a luxurious red bean paste made from Hokkaido azuki beans, giving it a mature taste. The final touch is a sprinkling of powdered sugar to evoke the beauty of Hokkaido in winter when snow piles up. The price is 367 yen (374 yen for eat-in).
