High-grade "fresh" bread specialty store "Nogami" offers a summer-only "iced monaka" available only for a limited time and in limited regions. Prices are 180 yen for the milk monaka and 200 yen for the Uji green tea monaka (both excluding tax).

Nogami Ice Monaka

Each piece of monaka is baked by hand and sandwiched between two ice cream sandwiches. Two flavors are available: milk and Uji green tea.

Nogami's original milk ice cream, with its light sweetness and nostalgic flavor, has a smooth texture and a refreshing aftertaste that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly. The matcha (powdered green tea) is made from Uji green tea, creating an exquisite ice cream that is rich and full-bodied. This product is recommended not only for eating while walking around, but also as a souvenir.
