PRESS BUTTER SAND is developing flavors using regional Japanese ingredients under the theme of "a confectionary that takes you back to that summer. As the first product in the series, a flavor that uses an abundance of Setouchi lemons to make you feel like you have traveled to the Seto Inland Sea will be sold throughout Japan. Normally, these products are only available in Chugoku and Shikoku.

Setouchi lemons are used in all cookies, butter cream, and butter caramel, and it is said that the whole fruit of the lemon can be felt. Lemon peel powder is kneaded into the cookie dough, lemon zest made from chopped lemon peels is used in the butter cream, and lemon curd, a paste of lemon juice, is blended into the caramel paste. The flavor is described as having a well-balanced taste with a clean sourness, a refreshing aroma, and a subtle bitterness that serves as an accent.

The packaging features a vivid yellow individual package that expresses the freshness of freshly picked lemons, as if the flavor of lemons grown in the warm climate of the Seto Inland Sea is packed directly into the box.
