Lotte has introduced "YOIYO [Shizuoka Distillery] 782" chocolates made with domestic single cask whiskey "782", available at the official online store from April 12. The price is 6,804 yen for a set of 10 chocolates in a gift box (including tax and delivery charge), and 3,045 yen for a set of 4 chocolates in a gift box.

YOIYO [Shizuoka Distillery] 782

The fifth in the "YOIYO" series of chocolates exclusively for Lotte's official online store. This is a collaboration with Gaiaflow Shizuoka Distillery. A single cask whiskey produced in a wood-fired distiller and aged for more than three years is selected and combined with milk chocolate, using a fermentation tank made of cedar wood from Shizuoka City and a pot still distilled over a local wood fire.

The initial aroma and taste is as if you are drinking whiskey, and the chocolate gradually spreads from the mid-part of the whiskey and the whiskey lingers for a long time. The astringent and bitter aroma of the original whiskey is softened by the strong alcohol taste, making it suitable for people who do not usually drink alcohol. Three types of packages will be available.


In conjunction with the campaign, a total of 12 winners will receive a 200ml (6.76us fl oz) bottle of single cask "782" whiskey. Two entries are possible with the purchase of a set of 10 "YOIYO [Shizuoka Distillery]" or one entry with the purchase of a set of 4.
