Ariraku Seika's Black Thunder series of chocolate snacks will release "Matcha-no-Thunder," featuring the authentic taste of matcha green tea and the unique crunchy texture of the Black Thunder series, at convenience stores, supermarkets and drugstores nationwide starting February 21.

Matcha no Thunder, the newest addition to the Black Thunder series, is a product themed on matcha, one of the classic flavors of chocolate. It features the authentic taste of matcha and the unique crunchy texture of the Black Thunder series.


No matcha flavoring is used in this product, but the flavorful Uji matcha is used. You can enjoy the authentic taste of matcha. The half coating of chocolate gives it a beautiful two-color appearance, and the balance of chocolate and matcha flavors creates a perfect taste.

Matcha-no-Thunder will be available at convenience stores, supermarkets, and drugstores nationwide from February 21, 2012. Some stores may not carry this product.
