Kikokuya's Yukimi Daifuku x Kikyo Shingen Mochi

This is the first collaboration between Yukimi Daifuku and Kikyo Shingen Mochi, a famous Yamanashi snack produced and sold by Kikyo-ya, a company founded in 1889. This special "Yukimi Daifuku" is made by wrapping a thick molasses sauce with soybean flour ice cream and soft, even when frozen, soybean flour mochi, inspired by the taste of Kikyo Shingen Mochi. The mochi is made with thicker mochi to recreate the taste of Kikyo Shingen Mochi.



Even right out of the freezer, the blackstrap molasses sauce is thick and soft, and gets moistly mixed with the soybean flour ice cream. The mochi is also soft and sticky. Even one piece is enough to satisfy your craving! This is a gem that combines the best parts of Yukimi Daifuku and Kikyo Shingen Mochi.
