Lake Biwa Drops Ramune

"Lake Biwa no Shizuku" is a series of cup sweets made from materials from Shiga prefecture. The first flavor, "Biwako no Shizuku Ramune," is a ramune-flavored jelly with milk agar that looks like white pebbles and ayu that is shaped like yokan to express the beautiful Lake Biwa where lake fish play. It is finished in a refreshing jelly.

The secret of the beautiful blue color of jelly is the natural herb "Butterfly Pea" from Shiga Prefecture. In the prefecture, there is a project called "Lake Biwa Blue" to focus on the "blue" of this herb and to disseminate the attractive manufacturing of Shiga, and "Lake Biwa Drops" is also participating in this project.
