According to the materials released by the General Incorporated Association "Plastic Recycling Association" in December 2020, the annual emission of plastic waste in 2019 will reach about 8.5 million tons, of which about 47% will be containers and packaging. The amount of plastic waste is on the rise due to the demand for nesting caused by the new coronavirus.

In response to these issues and the current situation, Starbucks proposes actions that will lead to the reduction of disposable plastics in order to create a sustainable future. We are accelerating "Reduce" actions to reduce plastic waste, such as providing ice-beverage paper cups and switching to paper straws. We also recommend using reuse containers such as tumblers and mugs.


The "Reusable Straw & Silicone Case" is a set of a silicone rubber straw that is easy to carry in both material and shape, and a case that fits the straw perfectly (with a special cleaning brush). As it is a wide straw with a large caliber, you can enjoy not only ice beverage but also Frappuccino. A bicolor design with the color switching in the center of both the straw and the case.
