Kappa Sushi "Tohoku Umaimon Fair"

The "Tohoku Umaimon Fair" will be held from March 4th to 21st at each Kappa Sushi restaurant. A collaboration project with "UMIUMA", a site where delicious seafood from the Tohoku region gathers. Carefully selected Tohoku "Umi" "delicious things" will appear.

"Natural conger eel from Miyagi prefecture" is a dish using natural conger eel that arrived from Miyagi prefecture, which is famous for "conger eel bowl". You can enjoy the fragrance that was roasted on a direct fire just before serving and the thick, natural nori seaweed.

"Sanriku Murasaki Squid" is a sushi made with Murasaki Squid, which is characterized by its tender meat quality. You can enjoy the discerning purple squid carefully selected by the long-established squid "Ido Shoten" in Sanriku and Kamaishi.

The "Sanriku Mekabu Seafood Warship" is a warship that uses Sanriku Mekabu, which is said to have large folds, thick meat, and a strong stickiness and fragrance. You can enjoy three different textures in one dish: the umami of mekabu, the chewy texture of true squid, and the crispy texture of mussels (* Mekabu only from Sanriku).

"Sanriku sashimi wakame" is thick and deep in color, and is characterized by its crispy taste. You can eat it as sashimi with soy sauce as it is, or you can enjoy it as "Sanriku Wakame Kake Udon" if you order it with "Kake Udon" (weekday only) on the side menu.
