Matsuya Chkmeruli
Ingredients (for 2 people)
1 chicken thigh, salt and pepper, 1 teaspoon of salad oilGarlic (grated) 10g (0.35oz) ~
Unsalted butter (salted butter is OK) 15g (0.53oz)
Milk 200ml (6.76us fl oz)
White stew base 1 sweet potato 100-150g (5.29oz)
Lemon juice a little soy sauce a few drops shredded cheese a little parsley
How to make
Cut the sweet potatoes into pieces that are easy to eat, soak them in water, and wash them quickly. Drain the water, put it in a heat-resistant container, wrap it lightly, and heat it in a microwave oven (600W) for about 3 minutes. It's OK if you stick a skewer and it becomes soft.
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and bake the chicken skin over medium heat.

When the chicken skin is browned, turn it over and add grated garlic.

When the garlic scent comes out, add milk and butter, cover and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.

Add the sweet potato stew and simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes until thickened.

Finally, add lemon juice and soy sauce to taste and serve on a plate. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and sprinkle with parsley to complete.

What is its taste?
Melting cheese adds richness to the creamy and mellow taste. It's lighter than the white stew, but the taste is rich! Lemon juice adds a touch of freshness, giving it a timeless taste.
The combination of delicious and tender chicken and sweet potatoes is also nice. It complements each other's personalities and both go well with creamy sauces.

Is it because of soy sauce? It goes very well with rice. Personally, I don't like the combination of white stew and white rice, but I felt "I want rice!" For this Chkmeruli.

Chkmeruli is surprisingly easy to make with the seasonings you have at home. Perfect for winter, it's full of volume! Please try.
