From the Calbee "Frugra" series, "Frugra milk and charred caramel latte taste" will be released in limited quantities on December 14th. It contains 600g (21.16oz), and the estimated price is around 750 yen (tax included). Sold until early January 2021.

"Frugra" is a cereal made by mixing dried fruits and nuts with granola, which is fragrantly baked by mixing grains such as oats, rye, and brown rice with syrup. The voluminous and crunchy texture is popular.

Introducing this time is a new Frugra product that reproduces the taste of Suntory's "Boss Cafe Base Scorched Caramel". It was developed as a product with a relaxing taste on cold mornings. "Boss Cafe Base Scorched Caramel" is a concentrated type beverage that you can enjoy a luxurious taste of caramel latte just by breaking it with milk. To reproduce this deliciousness, the granola dough is made with coffee extract powder to give it a slightly bitter taste. In addition, caramel powder adds a fragrant sweetness.

For toppings, we carefully select fruits that have a moderate acidity and enhance the taste of the dough. Strawberries and apples add a gorgeous color to the appearance. A slightly mature Frugra with an exquisite balance of fragrant coffee flavor, bitterness, and sweetness. You can enjoy a savory caramel latte-like taste when you eat it with milk.
