The recipe book "Welcome to" Hiyori Shokudo "", which was born from "Shokuiku" at Hiyori Nursery School, has been released for free on the Internet. As the demand for refraining from going out continues, recipes that children and parents can cook together at home are posted.

Hiyori Nursery School opened in 2017 in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. We are focusing on food education activities. Small children up to 1 year old peel vegetables, and children over 2 years old cut vegetables with a kitchen knife. We also hold a "Children's Restaurant" that develops what we have learned through food education activities.


The recipe contains a delicious menu of seasonal ingredients, popular with children and parents, compiled by nursery cooks and nutritionists. Utilizing the ideas of the teachers in the field, it is organized so that children attending kindergartens and nursery schools can easily see and understand it.


"Welcome to" Hiyori Shokudo "" has won the "Gourmand World Cooking Award 2020 children category" for "Basics of cooking that you want to learn by the time you go to elementary school". The content is easy to understand and practice even for adults who want to start cooking from now on.
