Eat "Thirty One" ice cream in 2019. It's almost a pun idea, but when I passed in front of the store, there was really such a poster. I bought the recommended "Super Chocolate Mint" because it was a big deal.

Until the end of April 2019. Since May will be the first year of Reiwa, Thirty One has announced the flavors that he wants to eat in the current era, which is running low.


As far as the poster is concerned, the best one as of April is super chocolate mint. Perhaps because it's too standard, I've never asked for chocolate mint at Thirty One. I will try it at this opportunity. It's my first time, so be careful with a small size cup. The price is 290 yen (tax included).


Thirty One's chocolate mint ice cream spreads well when scooped with a spoon. It looks and tastes like standard chocolate mint. The bright mint green is mixed with black chocolate, and you can enjoy the scent of mint that goes through your nose and the sweet and slightly bitter cacao flavor.


Also, it has a chocolate block rather than a crunchy chocolate chip, which makes it very chewy. The difference in texture between the sticky and soft ice cream and the crunchy chocolate is nice.


At the turn of the season, the temperature gradually rises and the ice cream becomes more and more delicious. It was a refreshing flavor that made me want to eat again in the early summer of Reiwa, which is about to begin, while letting the Heisei era go away with spring.
