Timore "Pomegranate Chips"
Pomegranate ... snack!

I bought the snack "TEMOLE pomegranate chips" that I saw at Natural Lawson. It is a snack made by kneading pomegranate and chickpea, and is characterized by being non-fried. Surprisingly, it tastes like rice crackers, not sweet or sour.

Pomegranate chips are chips made by mixing pomegranate, chickpeas, rice bran oil, etc. The texture is firm and reminiscent of sweet potato chips. Despite the fact that it contains fruits, it has a slightly salty taste. There are two types, "original" and "cheese". The selling price at Natural Lawson is 324 yen (tax included).

"Original" on the left and "Cheese" on the right

First of all, the original has a simple flavor, giving the impression that it is a bean cracker. Flux seeds (flax seeds) and chia seeds have a sesame-like texture. There wasn't a very strong scent, and when I realized that it was quite different from what I imagined from the name pomegranate, I noticed that three or four pieces were flattened. The habit is no less than a potato or corn snack.

The other cheese is the "cheese flavor" of potato and corn snacks. It has a stronger saltiness than the original, so it may be better as a snack for sake. After all it has a crispy and firm texture, and it goes well with the fragrant seasoning.

Both are quite different from what I expected from the bright red package, but I enjoyed an interesting encounter.
