I bought Chateraise "Dacquoise Strawberry". This is a limited-time flavor that is on sale from mid-January. It was a wonderful dish with a lovely appearance and a light taste that made you feel like springing a little earlier.

The faint pink color gives the impression of spring. When you bite into it, the meringue dough is refreshing on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The scent of strawberries is pungent at first, but it is surprising that the scent of almonds catches up soon. I wonder if the familiar Dacquoise personality remains.


The butter cream inside is said to be finely chopped dried strawberries sprinkled with sugar, but it doesn't taste that strong. The whole is elegant and gentle, but it is a little interesting experience to enjoy the flavor of sweet and sour fruits and the flavor of fragrant nuts together. It is a sweet that you want to have as a snack with hot straight tea.
