Kameda Seika "Teshioya Umemi"
This year as well as the plum blossoms

Kameda Seika will sell "8 pieces of Teshioya Umemi", a rice cracker seasoned with ripe plums, for a limited time from January 14th to the end of August.

It is an annual seasonal product and is sold every year from mid-January to coincide with the flowering of plum blossoms in the Kanto region. Among the Nanko plums produced in Kishu, the characteristic is that plum meat, which is made by drying only plums that are ripe until they naturally fall from the tree, is used for seasoning.

The umami of bonito flakes from Makurazaki, the umami of kelp soup stock, and the acidity of ripe plums go well with the inflated senbei dough, creating a refreshing and profound taste. It's a good idea to make a tea ceremony with the standard "Teshioya Shiomi".

The estimated price is around 200 yen (excluding tax). Handled by supermarkets nationwide.
