To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Starbucks' opening in Osaka, an anniversary project was held at 105 stores in Osaka Prefecture. Osaka Prefecture Limited Beverage "Osaka Mecha Matcha Frappuccino" "Ice Osaka Mecha Matcha Latte" "Osaka Mecha Matcha Latte" will be on sale from November 12th to 21st.

This year (2018) is the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Umeda HEP FIVE store in Osaka on November 28, 1998 as the first store in Western Japan. As "OSAKA 20th Thanks week", a limited beverage created by a store employee in Osaka will appear.

The birthplace of Sen no Rikyu is Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, and it is said that Sen no Rikyu made it a matcha flavor because of the connection that it is said that Sen no Rikyu made a great success in the tea ceremony culture. Compared to drinks that use standard matcha powder, it uses more than 1.5 times the amount of matcha powder, and you can enjoy a "much matcha feeling".

"Osaka Mecha Matcha Frappuccino" features a contrast of two colors, with a matcha base layered on a pure white base that tastes like vanilla ice cream. Caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and matcha powder are topped on the whipped cream to express the spirit of service that is unique to Osaka, "I want you to enjoy this and that too!" The overall visual is finished with the image of the castle tower of Osaka Castle. The price starts from 550 yen for short size (excluding tax, the same applies below).

"Ice Osaka Mecha Matcha Latte" is based on the popular Matcha Tea Latte and is served as an iced drink by a barista with a shaker for each order. "Osaka Mecha Matcha Latte" that warms up in the chilly season is also offered. The price starts from 440 yen for short size.
