Montblanc without pear "Marron Chantery Poire"
Pear and marron

A new seasonal product will appear in Tokyo Kaikan's popular sweet "Marron Chantery". "Pear" will be on sale in November, and "Cafe Caramel" will be on sale in December.

Maron Chantery is a historic Montblanc that has been popular in Tokyo Kaikan for about 60 years. The November-only "Marron Chantery Poir" is made by wrapping softly strained chestnuts with freshly sweet pear cream. It has a slightly sour taste and has a refreshing aftertaste. You can continue to order regular marron chanterries, so you can share or take them home and compare them.

"Marron Chantery Cafe Caramel" in December is said to have a bittersweet and refreshing sweetness of charred caramel after the deep richness of coffee. It contains chestnuts that have been boiled in Kanro-ni, just like the classic Marron Chantery. You can take it home as well as eat in.
