Haagen-Dazs "Hanamochi Chestnut Azuki" and "Sakura An"

From the Haagen-Dazs "Hanamochi" series, "Chestnut Azuki" and "Sakura An" will be on sale for a limited time from February 27th. The estimated price is 324 yen (tax included).

Since its introduction in 2015, the popular Hanamochi series. The two types to be released this time are not particular about the appearance and materials, and it seems that they have evolved into "elaborate Japanese sweets" more than the traditional flower mochi. I tried to eat the new work I expected.

High expectations

Chestnut azuki

Add chestnut sauce to red bean ice cream and top with mochi. Furthermore, it is finished by sprinkling bean paste mixed with chestnut grains.

Plenty of bean paste is plump and fluffy. Chestnuts with a crunchy texture and soft mochi make it look like chestnut zenzai! While various textures overlap, we will spread the rich sweetness.

When the mochi becomes soft, it's ready to eat

Brown sugar is used as a secret ingredient in red bean ice cream. A rich taste with a rich flavor in the azuki bean flavor. You can enjoy the deliciousness of Japanese with the smooth mouthfeel that is typical of Haagen-Dazs.

The chestnut sauce inside is like mashed chestnuts. While being familiar with bean paste and ice cream, we will firmly insist on its existence. Each ingredient is delicious, so you will be satisfied no matter where you eat!

What a luxury

Sakura An

Reproduce the taste of "Sakuramochi", which is popular as a Japanese sweet in spring. Salty sakura bean paste is mixed with ice cream that is a combination of milk and sakura leaf powder. Topped with mochi and sakura sauce.

When you open the lid, you can see the pale pink cherry sauce. It has a gorgeous scent and is entwined with the trolley. The cherry blossoms soaked in umezu are used, so it has a slightly sour taste and is fruity.

Mochi is transparent

When the pink sauce is combined with the white rice cake, ice cream, and the yellow-green sauce containing cherry leaf powder, the color is like cherry blossoms. Every time I eat it, I feel like I am enjoying the beautiful spring itself. The mellow richness and cherry blossom flavor leave a soft and gentle finish.

Two rich flavors that combine Haagen-Dazs and Japanese sweets. "Chestnut azuki" is recommended when you want to eat "sweetness" and take a break, and "Sakuramochi" is recommended when you want to feel the balmy spring. Why don't you spend a happy time with more evolved fluffy rice cakes?
