The sweets brand "CARAMEL GHOST HOUSE" is born with the concept of "excellent caramel sweets made by caramel ghosts". From October 1st, a limited-time pop-up store will open at "Haneda Star Sweets" at Haneda Airport.
The items sold are "Caramel Chocolate Cookies" (5 pieces starting from 810 yen, including tax, the same applies below), which is made by stacking 5 layers of caramel-flavored cookies and caramel chocolate containing tea leaves, and plenty of caramel. "Caramel cake" (starting at 840 yen for 6 pieces), which is made by baking chocolate dough into a square like caramel. Both are individually wrapped and are perfect as souvenirs.
In addition, "Caramel Baumkuhen" (2,268 yen) with plenty of caramel and Darjeeling tea sauce on the surface, and "Caramel" with caramel cream and cheese mousse layered on a sponge with tea leaves and a special caramel sauce with apples added. Large sweets such as "Apple Cake" (1,944 yen) are also available.
The store is located at Haneda Airport Terminal 1 2F Marketplace, 3-3-2 Haneda Airport, Ota-ku, Tokyo. Business hours are from 6:00 to 20:00. The store will open until January 9, 2018.
The story behind the concept is as follows.
Once upon a time, a yellow ghost and a black cat lived in a large, empty mansion on the outskirts of a town.
Caramel is my favorite ghost.
It seems that the caramel was simmered quietly and lightly with the black cat day after day.
A pinch of black tea for a hidden taste.
The caramel sweets that the ghost is proud of are completed.
Tomorrow is a caramel party once a year.
We are waiting for you at the Caramel Ghost House.
