Organic and delicious "BARE BURGER"

◆ “Eco and delicious” hamburger shop

BAREBURGER is a gourmet hamburger restaurant that has gained tremendous support from health-conscious New Yorkers. It is also published in Michelin. The keywords are "eco" and "organic". Not to mention the taste and volume, it is said to have gained support as a "body-friendly and delicious gourmet burger." The store name "BARE = as it is" also reflects that feeling.

Opened in New York, USA in 2009. It has 28 stores mainly in North America (as of October 2015), and landed in Japan in July.

◆ I went

I visited a store in 46 STREET near Times Square. It was around 17:30 on weekdays, but the audience seats were half full in a store like casual dining. Most of the customers are younger generations, but there are families and middle-aged men who enjoy hamburgers and beer alone. It seems to be supported by various customer groups.

◆ Menu & I tried it

You can customize the ingredients of the hamburger at the store. For example, the main patties can be beef, chicken, mutton, turkey, wild boar, deer, vegetarian patties, and more. In addition, some of the four types of buns are gluten-free, and 14 types of vegetables are prepared, giving a glimpse of our commitment to "health." In addition, some items have already been combined, and it is possible to change the item from there, such as "only the sauce is in Kochi".

The author ordered "THE STANDARD", which the clerk said with a smile, "It's a common cheeseburger, so I recommend it for the first time." A combination of buns = brioche bun, patty = beef, cheese = colby, vegetables = stout onions & dill pickles, and sauce = special sauce. As expected, a restaurant, a vertically volumey hamburger with a proper "freshly made" feeling, came out.

First of all, Patty is really delicious! It's packed tightly and the medium roasting condition is also good. The umami of the meat spreads gently in your mouth. Also, Colby cheese, which is not as strong as cheddar, pickles that are refreshing but have an exquisite taste, sauce that tastes like a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise, sweetly fried onions ... Each ingredient tastes good with patty. I'm pulling out. French fries was a type with shredded skin. It tastes like potatoes and is crispy and fluffy! It is said that it is fried in non-genetically modified canola oil. In addition, the tabletop ketchup and mustard were from SIR KENSINGTON'S, which uses healthy ingredients.

In addition to hamburgers, there are also large plates of potatoes and salads that can be shared by everyone, which is typical of a restaurant. The alcohol menu is also substantial, and while I was eating hamburgers, I occasionally heard the sound of shaking the shaker.

Bear Burger focuses on the concepts of "organic" and "eco". Therefore, the menus developed in Japan use ingredients that can be obtained in Japan. Although the concept was shared, the menu structure was unique. The second domestic store is scheduled to open in Ginza in the future. Check it out for organics!

By the way, I personally recommend the sweet potato fries, which are rare in Japan.
