Morinaga & Co.'s "High Crown" chocolate shop "GINZA High Crown" will open in Matsuya Ginza for a limited time from March 25th to 31st, and boxed chocolates using Kanazawa foil will be sold.


"High Crown" is an elongated block-shaped chocolate sold by Morinaga & Co., Ltd. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of its release last year, the concept shop "High Crown 2 Tsubo shop" was opened in Tokyo Station Gransta from October to December, and in January this year, the world chocolate festival "Salon du Chocolat" was opened. Anniversary products were sold at the Tokyo venue of "Chocolat 2015" and were well received.


At "GINZA High Crown", which will open in Matsuya Ginza this time, "Kanazawa Foil Jewelry Case" and "High Crown Mandian" will be on sale. Both are products that incorporate Japanese traditional crafts into their cases and vessels.

"Kanazawa Foil Jewelry Case (5 pieces)" is a chocolate in a jewelry box finished using Kanazawa Foil, which has attracted attention due to the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen. In a box with the motif of "Sakura", soft-colored Sakura decorated with glittering Swarovski is drawn.


The chocolate inside is the classic "classic milk" that feels the afterglow of milk, the "classic crunch" that is wrapped in milk with the rich taste and texture of macadamia crunch, the bittersweet aroma of matcha and the bitterness of cacao. 5 types such as "Kaoru Uji Matcha" that you can enjoy. The price is 6,800 yen.


"High Crown Mandian" is chocolate that has been poured into a bowl of Imari and Arita ware. The chocolate poured into a square bowl is luxuriously topped with lotus roots from Saga prefecture and dried fruits such as figs, and you can enjoy each texture and flavor depending on where you eat. There are two types, milk and white, and the price is 3,200 yen each.


In addition, the "High Crown 50th Anniversary" (2,000 yen) in a cherry-colored vanity case will be on sale.
